Taster exhibitions

Get a taste of what's to come during Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2018. Not only are these wonderful exhibitons in themselves, with diverse artwork to see and buy, but they also allow you the opportunity to plan ahead for your studio visits. There are a number of Taster Exhibitions taking place across the county and all are free to attend.

Group Exhibition, Norwich Theatre Royal

The exhibition space at Norwich Theatre Royal in the centre of Norwich has been successfully exhibiting and selling 2D artwork for professional East Anglian artists for the past 11 years since the Theatre’s major refurbishment. Selected and curated by Sarah Cannell, artists taking part in Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios 2018 have been invited to submit new and recent 2-dimensional works.

Central Taster Exhibition

The annual Central Taster Exhibition in the heart of Norwich showcases the exciting breadth of creativity throughout Norfolk, exhibiting works by artists across the county who are taking part in this year’s Norfolk & Norwich Open studios scheme. The varied exhibition offers you a taste of the vast range of work and the skill of Norfolk artists, and a chance to start planning your studio visits in May/June.

Artists will be on hand during the Exhibition to answer questions, discuss their work and techniques. Demonstrations will also take place.

South Norfolk Taster Exhibition

The Crown is a 440 year old pub, set in the picturesque village of Burston, near Diss. The exhibition showcases a variety of work from some of the artists, in the South Norfolk region, taking part in NNOS 2018. A wonderful opportunity to combine great beer, delicious food and beautiful art.

North Norfolk Taster Exhibition

The Old Workshop Gallery is a beautiful and relaxed space in which to view and enjoy the diversity of work from a large number of the North Norfolk artists participating in Open Studios. Running prior to and throughout the run of the scheme, the exhibition gives visitors a one stop way to extend their Open Studios experience.

The Old Workshop Gallery is situated in Corpusty. Take either the turning marked for Corpusty or for Saxthorpe of the B1149 Holt/ Norwich road. Take the turning at the village shop, continue past the pub for 200 yards and the gallery is on the left.

Breckland Taster Exhibition

Held once again this year at the delightful Dragonfly Gallery in Watton, artists from within the Breckland area join together to showcase the culmination of this year's work. The exhibition gives the chance to view a 'taste' of things to come in their own Open Studios, with many unique 2D and 3D artworks on display. So come and join us, we'd love to see you there.
